Is there anything you absolutely love? Something that makes you smile to just think about it? For me, that thing has always been Disney. The first time I went to Disney World, I was only 7. From that moment on, I was hooked. I remember going back many times with my family. Then, when I was 16, we stayed on property for the first time at Disney's Fort Wilderness in a camper. A whole new world of Disney opened up to me. I realized then how immersive Disney could be.
Fast forward to today... there is no hiding I am a Disney fanatic. My house is covered in souvenirs; my social media is covered in all things Disney. My ear collection covers an entire wall in my room, and don't ask about my Loungefly mini backpack obsession!
So you get it, I love Disney. But why did I decide to start a travel agency? The simple answer is, I love planning vacations (especially Disney ones). They can be complex and overwhelming to plan, but I absolutely love every part of it. Things change constantly in the parks, and I already stay up to date with all the changes, as it is my passion. I watch vlogs daily to stay up to date with everything in the parks. More than once I have been told by family and friends that I should be a travel agent specializing in Disney travel. I have had a passion for planning travel since I was little. Even things as simple as a spring break staycation, I would have a daily itinerary all planned out months before. I do love planning travel all over the country, but Disney World specifically, is my passion. I get teary eyed sometimes as I see photos of friends and families enjoying a Disney trip. (And YES, I did have happy tears when Bob Iger came back!) All these things, and more, made me decide to finally take the leap of faith, and start my own travel agency.
I'm extremely excited to start this adventure. I enrolled today, January 21st, 2023 to be an official travel agency, Magical Dream Travels. While I am not officially registered with Disney to sell their packages just yet, the process has been started and I look forward to offering my services in the coming months.
